Cognitive Studies
Cognitive science is an exciting and rapidly developing coalition of disciplines which include philosophy of mind, logic, cognitive and evolutionary psychology, linguistics, neuroscience, and anthropology. Cognitive studies at Tulane is a coordinate major, which means a student must also declare one additional major of their choice. Cognitive studies consists of a ten-course requirement comprised of required courses and electives. The program is organized along three tracks – formal disciplines, psychology, and philosophy – which best represent the core of cognitive science today.
